WSBR, Inc. is both an In-Situ Remediation Contractor that provides monitoring services for, as an example Underground Storage Tanks and Remediation of Contaminated Sites. Our equipment and methodologies are state of the art in the areas of remediation and monitoring. We offer a full range of remediation and monitoring services, from turnkey solutions, to partnering with client and/or consultant staff.
WSBR, Inc. utilizes the EURISANA System that incorporates the best attributes of each of the following in situ technologies while eliminating each of their shortcomings, therefore providing significant cost savings as well as time to completion.
Comparison of Conventional
and
Eurisana Methodologies of Remediation
Excavation
Conventional
Must remove soil and replace with non-contaminated soil; Heavy equipment is needed and Haz-mat /Federal agencies are involved.
Eurisana
No costs of soil removal, no heavy equipment needed and no local or federal Air Quality permits required.
Cost
Conventional
Trucks, Labor, Transportation, Cleaning, storage and/or disposal of contaminated soil and Engineering and Management costs.
Eurisana
Average of 75% faster clean-up than traditional methods, 90% reduction of labor costs and low energy consumption – Less than 1 kilowatt/hr and active thermal dissipation.
Liability
Conventional
Dumping or storiage of contaminated soil or Incineration causing long term hazardous environmental problems
Eurisana
No transportation of hazardous materials, No dumping of hazardous materials and No incinerator needed.
Confined or Treacherous Areas
Conventional
Removal of existing structures, large equipment in confined areas is restricted if not impossible to clean, treacherous land formations may require significant removal of additional soil and restoration after remediation and City and/or County approval or restrictions may be imposed.
Eurisana
Can operate under the existing structures or operate in confined area and can operate on treacherous land formations as well as in commercial or residential area.
Noise Conserns
Conventional
May not be able to operate in Quiet Zones or next to Schools and Hospitals without major authorization and permits from the city and county administrations or sound barriers
Eurisana
Can operate in silent zones (very quiet operation) and next to Homes, Schools and Hospitals
Remediation Monitoring
Conventional
Monitoring of the remediation process must be accomplished through sample collection and laboratory analysis; operational and property problems can cause delays or change the estimated price and after site clean-up monitoring requires additional Laboratory analysis resulting additional expense and time.
Eurisana
The Eurisana System employes real time Data Monitoring and system control from anywhere in the world via Internet. The monitoring sensors can be adapted to most pollutants and the process parameters can be optimized on the flyto speed up the remediation process.
Corrosion Protection for UST
Conventional
No control of the soil moisture avaliable with standard installations unless very expensive equipment is installed to monitor and/or remove condensation around tank areas.
Eurisana
Sites that have the Eurisana System installed will removes condensation which causes corrosion around underground metallic structures and Under Ground Tanks.
Detection and Remediation
Conventional
Leak detection is accomplished through monitoring of the tanks content Shrinkage, if loss is detected the tank and surrounding contaminated soil must be excavated and removed and replaced.
Eurisana
Once again sites with the Eurisana System in place will provide Real Time Detection of leaks from Underground Storage Tanks (UST). In case of where a minimal amount of pollutants in the soilare detected the system will automatically activate the natural process of bioremediation.
